OLIVE YOUNG is the first company to introduce the first Korean health and beauty store. Since the opening of its first store in 1999, OLIVE YOUNG has a network of 1,200 stores across Korea and delivers items to 150 countries around the world, stepping from “Korea’s No.1 Health and Beauty Store” to becoming the “Global Life Style Platform”.

OLIVE YOUNG has launched new services such as “Omni-channel service” and “1-day Delivery” in an effort to enhance its omnichannel strategy. As part of the effort, the company has installed RAINUS InforTab Plus at its 15 stores nationwide.

InforTab Plus is a smart shelf solution that connects online and offline stores with a variety of multimedia contents including images and videos, designed to accelerate digital transformation.


The in-Touch technology, which InforTab Plus is based on, helps OLIVE YOUNG collect behavioral data of in-store customers. The HQ now can manage pricing as well as various promotions and advertising in real-time, with no need to visit the physical stores.

POP (Pont of Purchase) displays and promotional materials that are made up of papers now can be replaced with dynamic contents on the InforTab Plus display. It cuts time and costs spent on printing and replacing materials. The stores can benefit from the elimination of these materials and it leads to the optimized use of space and a modernized look.

With the shift to e-commerce, OLIVE YOUNG was looking for a way to differentiate the brand in the market, and InforTab Plus was a perfect solution. OLIVE YOUNG is currently displaying dynamic content, including a QR code that helps customers add a store to their favorite in the app, credit card promotions, and customer reviews. Through the contents, the company has boosted advertising effectiveness as well as customer engagement.
